February 5 Might Not Be The End

By gitell

Boston Globe Columnist Scot Lehigh has written of the February 5th mega-primary “with the official nominating season barely started, it may well end in one huge explosion of primaries.” Scot is one of the most experienced observers of primary politics around. He may only be seeing one side of the coin. It’s just as possible that the major candidates go into February 5 with no one having the momentum. It’s also possible that the candidates will come out of February 5 with divided support. At that point, with all the candidates out of money — think expensive t.v. markets of Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York City — nobody knows what will happen. I explore scenarios in my New York Sun column.
