I’m here at Manchester’s Verizon Arena waiting for Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey to address what looks like a crowd of thousands. They just sang the national anthem and everyone in the crowd rose. Some place their right hands over their hearts and a security tech even gave the flag a full military salute. Obama would have been wise to follow his supporters’ example back in the Summer.
Not that it will matter much now. Obama is surging in Iowa and starting to catch fire in New Hampshire as well.
