In the Halberstam Tradition

Jonathan Cohn

One journalistic honor that David Halberstam never garnered was to serve as the president of The Harvard Crimson. Jonathan Cohn ’91 held that distinction and he will be on hand at the Harvard Book Store tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. to discuss his new book, Sick. Cohn, like Halberstam, the son of a doctor, will also participate on a panel discussion on healthcare under the auspices of MassInc, 6:30 p.m., Thursday at the Jury’s Hotel. There’s no secret that Jonathan Cohn is my friend, but I can’t help but think that Sick is a readable, thoughtful book about a serious subject in the way that Halberstam’s best work always was.
